Fantasy Analysis
Jarome Iginla isn't quite the player he used to be, but with 20 goals and 42 points in 53 games, he's still a reliable option for fantasy. (Updated 02/06/2012).
02/07/2012 01:12 Hagman's SO goal wins it for Ducks

02/03/2012 23:53 Iginla leads Flames past Blackhawks
Jarome Iginla had a goal and an assist to help Calgary Flames beat the Chicago Blackhawks 3-1 Friday night.
01/29/2012 19:06 MVP Gaborik's hat trick leads to win
Marian Gaborik made New York Rangers teammate Henrik Lundqvist pay for not selecting him to play for Daniel Alfredsson's team in the NHL All-Star Game.
01/28/2012 23:28 Team Alfredsson beats Chara in skills competition
Patrick Kane's Superman cape and Zdeno Chara's blistering hot slap shot wasn't enough to beat Daniel Alfredsson and his team stocked with hometown favorites in the NHL All-Star skills competition Saturday night.
Iginla recorded 86 points (43 G, 43 A) last season, 17 more than he had strung together in 2009-10. Easily the best forward on the team, Iginla is an offensive force who provides veteran leadership and competence in all three zones. Naturally, Iginla draws the toughest defensive pairings opponents have on board, but that hasn't stopped him from averaging close to a point-per-game in his 14-year career. The captain's plus/minus rating will be a barometer on how the Flames are doing next season. If he can improve on his Even Steven rating from last year, then look for Calgary to sneak into the playoff picture. Fantasy owners will definitely want to be along for the ride.
