| It's been quite clear over the last decade who has become the face of the Coyotes organization -- Shane Doan. The 32-year-old forward is still going strong and proved that in 2008-09 with his second straight 70-point campaign. Doan has totaled 50 or more points eight of the last nine seasons and joined Dale Hawerchuk and Keith Tkachuk in '08-09 as the only players in franchise history with nine straight 20-goal seasons. Doan totaled a career-high 31 goals in 82 games last season. He had 73 points, a plus-5 rating and 10 power-play scores. Doan has managed double-digit power-play goals in three of the last four seasons. He also got the job done on defense, as Doan led Phoenix with 188 hits last season. He has 151 points in his last 162 games. The Coyotes might not have a lot to look forward to in 2009-10, but Doan is once again expected to be a bright spot. Consider the 1995 first-round pick a high-end Fantasy forward. (Updated 9/25/09) |
