Fantasy Analysis
Steve Sullivan is making way for the return of Ilya Kovalchuk from a shoulder injury that saw him miss seven games. Sullivan has had a minimal impact in six games since his trade to New Jersey with a goal and an assist. He had been seeing power-play time, but the Devils have been woefully inefficient on offense. 04/25/2013 23:12 Kovalchuk scores as Devils nip Pens to finish up home slate
Ilya Kovalchuk scored his first goal since suffering a shoulder injury last month, giving the New Jersey Devils a 3-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday.
04/23/2013 22:00 Devils win, hurt Canadiens' chances of winning division
Patrik Elias scored his 375th NHL goal, Martin Brodeur made 19 saves for his 669th victory and the New Jersey Devils earned a 3-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night.
04/12/2013 22:21 Anderson's shutout sends Senators past Devils
Craig Anderson made 33 saves in his third shutout of the season, and the Ottawa Senators sent the sliding New Jersey Devils to their ninth straight loss with a 2-0 victory Friday night.
Steve Sullivan, a 48-point producer in 79 games with the Penguins last year, should bring a much-needed shot of offense to the Coyotes in 2012-13, especially on the team's woeful power play. Sullivan will have a big opportunity to produce in the desert with the departure of Ray Whitney and while he won't be skating with the likes of Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby, Sullivan should still be one of the team's top sources of points going forward.
