Derek Stepan and Arron Asham both scored tiebreaking goals in the third period for the New York Rangers in a 4-3 victory against the Washington Capitals in Game 3 on Monday night.
In signing with the Rangers, Arron Asham has now completed his tour of the Atlantic Division as he's previously played with the Flyers, Penguins, Devils and Islanders. The 34-year-old winger doesn't provide much offense as he only tallied 16 points in 2011-12, but he has the potential to make a a difference for fantasy owners in the penalty minutes category, as evidenced by his totals of 155 and 126 in 2008-09 and 2009-10, respectively. He's a defensive forward in the truest definition of the position. (Updated 8/14/12)
