Fantasy Analysis
Nolan Baumgartner has appeared in 143 NHL games throughout the years, but he's more of a fringe player at this stage of his career. Look for the 35-year-old vet to spend most of his time in the minors. (Updated 10/21/2011).
02/12/2010 21:57 Canucks come back against Blue Jackets; Raycroft earns 100th win
Mikael Samuelsson scored on a lazy, deflected popup that wafted over goalie Steve Mason's head, capping the Vancouver Canucks' comeback from a two-goal deficit to beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 on Friday.
Baumgartner spent the entire 2010-11 season with Manitoba of the AHL, finishing with 29 points (4 G, 25 A) in 66 games. The 35-year-old defenseman has 47 points in 143 career NHL appearances. He signed a two-way deal with Vancouver this summer, so even if he does see a promotion, it will likely be short lived. (Updated 8/16/11)
