| Fantasy Analysis |
Dumont has 33 points in 47 games, which puts him on pace for 48 points. Unfortunately, if he ends up being demoted to the fourth line, he isn't likely to see enough of the ice to get into the high 40s. He remains worth stashing in most leagues, but should only be starting in deeper formats. (Updated 02/03/2010).

Week 19 Fantasy Hockey Planner
The trade winds are definitely kicking up as we approach the extended Olympic break. How might your key Fantasy contributors be impacted? Our Michael Hurcomb touches on that and much more in his weekly Planner.

| There were times in 2008-09 where it appeared J.P. Dumont and Jason Arnott missed their 2007-08 linemate Alexander Radulov, who fled to Russia to play hockey. But in the end, the duo managed to survive. Dumont finished with a team-high 49 assists and 65 points. His assist total was a career high and the third-highest in franchise history. He also continued to click with Arnott by assisting on 20 of Arnott's franchise-record 33 goals. Dumont has posted at least 40 assists and 60 points in all three seasons he has been with Nashville. He has also been quite durable, missing just two games since joining the club in 2006-07. Dumont ended the '08-09 season on a high note with 25 points (four goals) in his final 25 games. The 21 assists in that span were the third-highest in the NHL. Dumont should be one of the Predators' top offensive weapons again in 2009-10, so view him as a viable No. 4 or No. 5 Fantasy forward.
