Fantasy Analysis
Michal Handzus spent a significant portion of this season as a healthy scratch, but it appears he will get a chance to play in Game 4 on Thursday. Brad Winchester also took regular shifts, while T.J. Galiardi and Dominic Moore appear to be the guys who will cede ice time. However, you should keep in mind that the Sharks have not committed to the lineup yet and could make a change before Thursday night. (Updated 04/18/2012).

Joe Pavelski scored two goals in helping the San Jose Sharks improve their playoff chances with a 5-1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night.
03/25/2012 00:56 Sharks top Coyotes in battle for playoffs
Michal Handzus and Ryane Clowe scored in the shootout, and Antti Niemi stopped both Phoenix attempts to lead the San Jose Sharks to a crucial 4-3 victory over the Coyotes on Saturday night.
Handzus signed a deal with the Sharks in the offseason that will pay him $2.5 million over two years. This figures to be a safe investment for San Jose, as he has the ability to improve a penalty-killing unit that went from being one of the top units (85 percent) in 2009-10, all the way down to 79.6 percent last season. The potential pitfall for "Zeus" is that he had averaged between 18:18 and 17:20 of ice time the past two seasons with Los Angeles, and considering that was the approximate TOI range for Ryane Clowe and Logan Couture last season, Handzus' minutes are bound to drop as a third-line checker in a teal sweater. And naturally, a decrease in minutes means fewer opportunities to score, followed by a natural drop in fantasy value. (Updated 10/4/11)
