Blue Jackets' Murray Out Tuesday
Murray will not play Tuesday against the Hurricanes due to a lower body injury.It's not entirely certain what will prevent Murray from playing Tuesday, but head coach Todd Richards said Murray experienced a "minor setback," which hints at him dealing with soreness in the knee that he had repaired over the summer. Murray is considered day-to-day, so it remains to be seen if he will miss further action beyond Tuesday's game.

|While injuries continued to dog him, Ryan Murray's rookie season was fairly successful. Scoring 21 points in 66 games won him a spot on the Blue Jackets' second defensive pairing and proved himself mature far beyond his years. The presence of Jack Johnson and James Wisniewski prevent him from seeing big power play minutes, which limits Murray's fantasy potential, but it won't be long before he establishes himself as a rock-solid two-way blueliner and an indispensable part of Columbus' future.
