Fantasy Analysis
Despite the rough outing, Chris Mason still maintains a .904 save percentage on the year. The veteran netminder has likely seen his last ice time of the season, as the Jets will hope to end their inaugural campaign on a high note. Regular starter Ondrej Pavelec will be in goal as Winnipeg goes for a home win over the visiting Lightning on Saturday night. (Updated 04/05/2012).
Mason posted a goals-against average of 3.39 last season, which is the highest of his career since becoming a regular in the NHL. At this point in his career, Mason is a platoon goalie at the best of times, and really, the majority of time between the pipes in Winnipeg will probably go to his teammate Ondrej Pavelec. Mason is only worth drafting as an occasional plug-and-play option where the opponent is favorable. (Updated 10/4/11)
