Fantasy Analysis
Brenden Morrow missed significant time this year with a variety of upper-body injuries, and when he was on the ice, he didn't play very well, as he posted the lowest scoring rate of his career. At 33 years old, Morrow shouldn't quite be washed up, as he was a 30-goal man just two years ago. He's an interesting sleeper for next year, as his combination of points and PIM is useful in fantasy -- when he's healthy. (Updated 04/13/2012).

04/01/2012 01:08 Sharks zip Stars, back in playoff chase

03/24/2012 16:55 Stars remain in playoff hunt with win
Jamie Benn scored twice, Kari Lehtonen made 35 saves, and the Dallas Stars beat the Calgary Flames 4-1 on Saturday in a matchup of Western Conference playoff contenders.
Morrow set a career high in goals scored with 33 tallies, including nine on the power play. His near point-per-game scoring rate back in 2007-08 is a thing of the past, as he has just 49 assists over the past two seasons, and he's cut way back on the PIMs (and fighting in particular) in recent years. He's still one of the better power forwards in the NHL however, and should be a lock for 25-plus goals, 50 points and 70 PIMs. (Updated 10/4/11)
