Montador successfully cleared waivers Friday, TSN's Darren Dreger reports.The Blackhawks will now be able to buy out Montador's contract after he missed all of the 2012 season with a concussion. He figures to come at a steep discount after failing to deliver much production on the four-year, $11 million deal he signed with the Blackhawks prior to last season.
