Fantasy Analysis
Ales Kotalik was part of a summer deal that was really centered around bringing veteran blueliner Robin Regehr to Buffalo from the Flames. No one seems to want Kotalik, the former sniper with the booming shot who has 20-plus goals three times in his career. Make sure he's nowhere near your draft board. (Updated 09/29/2011).
09/24/2011 20:46 Sabres place Kotalik, Morrisonn on waivers
The Buffalo Sabres have placed forward Ales Kotalik and defenseman Shaone Morrisonn on waivers, but haven't written either veteran player out of their plans yet.
Kotalik was an add-on in the deal that brought Robyn Regehr to Buffalo, and while Buffalo was the sight of the majority of Kotalik's success as an NHLer, he's destined to spend the majority of 2011-12 with AHL Rochester. (Updated 10/4/11)
