Fantasy Analysis
Cunneyworth isn't putting a time frame on the ambiguous "a little longer," but it does suggest the injury could impact their plans to trade Travis Moen before the Feb. 27 trade deadline. Though the coach did say some teams will take him "as is." (Updated 02/21/2012).
01/04/2012 22:28 Eller scores four times for Canadiens
Lars Eller had four goals and an assist, Travis Moen had three assists, and the Montreal Canadiens bounced back from a poor road trip with a 7-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday.
Moen played primarily on the third line with some occasional fill-in duty on the top two lines due to injury, finishing up with 16 points and 96 minutes in penalties in 2010-11. In a perfect world, Moen remains a third- or fourth-line grinder that can give Montreals forwards some much needed grit. Hes not on the roster for his scoring ability. (Updated 10/4/11)
