Pothier returns from latest issue: Capitals D Brian Pothier returned to the lineup on Thursday against the Ducks after missing six games with an undisclosed injury. He had no points and finished at even in 18:20 of ice time.

| Fantasy Analysis |
Pothier has played only 33 games this season due to injuries and is becoming an injury-prone skater. But he is really blessed to be back on the ice after a concussion nearly ended his career. Pothier is a good two-way player, but he has low-end Fantasy appeal when healthy. He just doesn't stat enough on a regular basis.

| Capitals D Brian Pothier missed nearly the entire season in 2008-09 as he was recuperating from a career-threatening concussion. Pothier was checked into the boards on Jan. 3, 2008 by Milan Lucic and did not return to the ice until March 16 of last season. He played in nine regular season games for the Caps, scoring a goal and handing out two assists. Pothier led all Caps defensemen in points (28) and assists (25) in the 2006-07 season and is a nice sleeper for the upcoming season.
