05/16/2013 13:41 Kings' Stoll Out For Game 2
Stoll (head) will miss Thursday's Game 2, ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reports.Stoll left Game 1 on Tuesday after being hit by the Sharks' Raffi Torres, who was called for charging on the play. Brad Richardson is expected to take Stoll's spot in the lineup, but head coach Darryl Sutter hasn't made an official announcement yet.
Jarret Stoll was asked to transition to a third-line role this past season and saw his offensive game evaporate as a result, totaling a career-low 21 points and just six goals. That's not likely to change with Anze Kopitar and Mike Richards occupying the top two lines, so don't expect much of an improvement out of Stoll. (Updated 8/14/12)
