Barch fights in first game back: Stars right wing Krys Barch returned to the ice on Thursday against the Sharks after missing three games because of a back injury. He had no points in 6:05 of ice time and finished at even. He did get into a first-period fight with Brad Staubitz.

The fact Barch wasted little time getting into a fight on Thursday is a good indication he is healthy. He has 22 penalty minutes in 15 games. Barch is one of the Stars' top enforcers and more of a flier in Fantasy leagues that reward heavily for PIM.

Blue Jackets earn rare win against Stars goalie Turco
Rick Nash scored on a power play and Kristian Huselius added a short-handed goal in the final seconds of the fight-filled opening period, sending the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 4-1 victory over the Dallas Stars on Thursday.

| Every team has their resident tough guy, and in 2008-09 the Stars enforcer was third-year forward Krys Barch. He ended up finishing second on the team with 133 penalty minutes, however, he had a team-high 19 major penalties -- all fights. He averaged 1.8 penalty minutes per game. Barch finally got his chance for full-time work last season. He appeared in a career-high 72 games, while also setting personal bests in goals (4), assists (5), points (9), plus-minus (1) and penalty minutes. Barch wasn't afraid to throw his weight around as he finished sixth on the team with 123 hits. The 6-2, 200-pound forward is best used in Fantasy leagues that reward heavily for PIM.
