Krys Barch doesn't have much value on the ice for New Jersey other than fighting. He grappled with Boston's Shawn Thornton in the first period, but did manage to draw a penalty later in the contest. He's not a reliable pick for goon leagues unless you know he's playing, as he has alternated contests with fellow pugilist Cam Janssen the season's first five games. (Updated 1/30/13).

The Devils felt David Clarkson and Cam Janssen werent enough toughness so they proceeded to sign Krys Barch from Florida to keep up with the Rangers and Flyers in the arms race.
