02/06/2011 15:08 Capitals stay on Super roll, blank wounded Penguins
Brooks Laich scored a blue-collar goal, Marcus Johansson got a flashy one, and the Washington Capitals stayed super on Super Sunday, beating the star-starved Pittsburgh Penguins 3-0.
Poti has really suffered due to injuries the last three years, missing over 100 games. Last season was really tough as the veteran blueliner missed over 60 games. His career is in question and adding the defensemen they did in the offseason, the Caps are looking like they are really considering it a huge possibility. With 13 years in the league, he probably does not want to jeopardize his life after hockey. If he does come back, however, he fits right back in as a top two pairing, but the scoring is probably long gone here. (Updated 10/4/11)
