Spacek missed significant time last season with a knee injury, but was relatively effective when healthy, leading the Habs with a plus-9 in 59 games. Entering the final year of his contract with Montreal, Spacek is a 37-year-old coming off knee surgery one of three blueliners coming back from surgery.
