Fantasy Analysis
P.A. Parenteau has quietly been one of the season's best signings, as the Avs snagged him from the Islanders for a relative bargain of $4 million per season. Pareanteau is in the midst of a career-best season in terms of points per game with 43 in 47 contests. He's a talented winger who has enjoyed playing alongside 2009's top draft picks in his career, as he's showed good chemistry with both Matt Duchene and John Tavares. (Updated 4/27/13).
04/19/2013 23:44 Eberle's goal, two assists lead Oilers past Avalanche
Jordan Eberle scored and had two assists, Devan Dubnyk stopped 33 shots and the Edmonton Oilers snapped a six-game skid with a 4-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Friday night.
04/13/2013 17:46 Avs' Hejda scores winner to cap rally, sink Canucks
Jan Hejda scored with 7.6 seconds remaining and Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 24 shots, helping the Colorado Avalanche rally for a 4-3 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.
P.A. Parenteau, who signed a four-year, $16 million deal with the Avalanche in June, is coming off two very good campaigns with the Islanders in which he averaged 60 points per season with just three games missed. He could turn out to be the game-breaking right-winger the Avs have been lacking the last couple of seasons. Parenteau is a good complementary player and should slot into a spot beside either Matt Duchene or Ryan O'Reilly, and that should continue to deliver him -- and you -- fantasy points.
