Sjostrom nets impressive goal Tuesday: Flames RW Fredrik Sjostrom scored a goal, tallied an assist and finished at plus-2 during Tuesday's game against the Blue Jackets. Sjostrom took a pass behind his back, pulled the puck to his forehand and, despite being hooked off balance on a breakaway, spun around and curled the puck inside the far post from a sharp angle for his first goal with the Flames. "That was one of my better ones," he said. "It was just a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing. I was really excited to see that one go in, I've been waiting a long time."

Sjostrom has five points and a plus-5 rating in his first nine games with the Flames. Sjostrom is a veteran of the NHL, but he has never really had an impressive stat line. He finally might break the mold in 2009-10 despite being a lower-line forward. However, there are still a lot of other impressive Fantasy options on the market, so Sjostrom still has limited appeal.
