Fantasy Analysis
Christian Ehrhoff's first season as a highly paid Sabre will go down as a disappointment, as he finished with a 5-27-32 line following career-best numbers of 14-36-50 the previous year. That said, he played better with the Sabres down the stretch - like a lot of his teammates - and his absence became a pretty big factor in the team just missing the playoffs. Now that he seems to understand the system and should be healthier next season, he could be a decent bounce-back guy in the fantasy realm. (Updated 04/09/2012).

03/24/2012 21:59 Sabres keep up with playoff push

Travis Turnbull scored his first NHL goal, with some help from the Rangers, and the Buffalo Sabres earned another big win in their playoff quest by beating New York 4-1 on Friday night.
Ehrhoff signed a giant free agent contract with the Sabres over the summer and expectations in Buffalo are soaring for the German defender. Ehrhoff could play the point on the power play alongside Tyler Myers, creating a devastating look for opponents. Ten goals and 30-35 assists are not too much to ask of Ehrhoff in 2011-12.
