| Fantasy Analysis |
Huselius has always been one of those players to do well in stretches and then go cold. It's why he has never reached elite status in Fantasy. If you have the room in Fantasy, Huselius might be worth adding, but don't be surprised if he struggles in February. (Updated 02/02/2010).

Week 18 Fantasy Hockey Planner

| The Blue Jackets lured Kristian Huselius to Columbus in the 2008 offseason after a very successful three-year tenure with the Flames (190 points in 240 games). Columbus was in desperate need of some secondary scorers behind Rick Nash, and Huselius delivered just that as he finished third on the team with 21 goals. He also finished second to Nash with 56 points. Unfortunately, Huselius just converted 9.9 percent of his shots, his lowest output since 2003-04 with the Panthers. Huselius had some of his best years playing alongside Jarome Iginla in Calgary and no one was surprised to see his production dip in 2008-09. He did play better after the calendar year turned to 2009 with 11 goals and 22 assists in his final 38 games. If he can carry that momentum into 2009-10, Huselius might work his way back up the Fantasy ladder. But he remains more of a No. 5 or No. 6 Fantasy forward Draft Day. (Updated 8/17/09) |
