03/31/2012 16:26 Spezza, Michalek win it in SO for Sens
Jason Spezza and Milan Michalek scored shootout goals to help the Ottawa Senators beat the Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 on Saturday.
Michalek had a slow start to the 2010-11 season as he was still recovering from an MCL injury that ended his previous season early. His skating and leg strength were seriously affected, but as the season wore on, his skating began to return to form as did his offensive numbers. Michalek will once again be one of Ottawa's top-6 forwards, but there's no guarantee that he'll play on a consistent basis with No. 1 center Jason Spezza. If Michalek can avoid the types of injuries that have slowed his career these last few years, he's quite capable of putting up close to 30 goals and 60 points for the 2011-12 season. (Updated 10/4/11)
