| It seems Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf are inseparable. Both players were drafted in the first round by the Ducks in 2003 (Getzlaf 19th and Perry 28th). Both players are 24. Both players are under contract with Anaheim until 2012-13. Both players make the same amount of money per year ($5.33 million). And both players star on the top line for Anaheim. While Getzlaf led Anaheim with 91 points in 2008-09, Perry tried to keep up and finished second with 72. He did lead the Ducks with 32 goals, game-winning goals (8) and shots (283). It was a career year for Perry as he set new personal bests in goals, assists (40), points, game winners and penalty minutes (109). And once again like Getzlaf, Perry has increased his point production every season he has been in the NHL. He has gone from 25 to 44 to 54 to 72. Even with the likes of Teemu Selanne and Joffrey Lupul breathing down his neck at right wing, Perry has solidified his role alongside Getzlaf. Consider Perry a high-end Fantasy forward Draft Day.
