Coach Todd Richards believes that Fedor Tyutin may very well sit the remainder of the season. Whether he does drop the stick for the season or not, the fact that it is even brought up shows it is a severe injury. Although his points and plus-minus rating dropped for a third straight season, Tyutin remains one of the Blue Jackets' steadier defensemen and a lock for a spot in one of the top two pairings.
