Miserable Game For Wild's Brodziak: Kyle Brodziak was invisible in Thursday's shootout win over Chicago. In 19:30 of ice time, he failed to record a point, a shot on goal or a hit, and won just five of 18 face-offs. (Updated 04/06/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
If it's any excuse, he did take a skate to the face two days earlier, but most NHL players will tell you that's not much of an excuse. Kyle Brodziak has had a surprisingly productive season, with 22 goals and 22 assists, though he's burdened by a career-worst minus-15 rating. (Updated 04/06/2012).
04/01/2012 22:29 Wild upend Blackhawks in shootout
Devin Setoguchi and Erik Christensen scored in a shootout to help the Minnesota Wild beat the Chicago Blackhawks 5-4 on Sunday night for their third consecutive victory.
03/29/2012 22:54 Southeast-leading Panthers lose to Wild
Mikko Koivu split two defenders and beat former teammate Jose Theodore 15 seconds into overtime to give the Minnesota Wild a 3-2 victory over the Florida Panthers on Thursday.
03/27/2012 22:44 Rangers beat Wild with late goal
Ruslan Fedotenko's go-ahead goal in the third period gave the New York Rangers a 3-2 victory on Tuesday over the Minnesota Wild and some more space in the tightened Eastern Conference playoff race.
Brodziak is a solid two-way center for the Green and Red. In 2010-11, he finished second on the Wild with 48 takeaways and established new career highs in goals (16), points (37) and penalty minutes (56). The one knock on him is that he does not receive much time on the man advantage, though he did average a full minute longer on the power play in 2010-11 (1:16) than the year before - 0:16. As long as you don't expect Brodziak to be a fantasy hero on a nightly basis, there should be little risk using him as a sleeper pick in the late rounds of most fantasy drafts. (Updated 10/4/11)
