Fantasy Analysis
So much for his modest two-game winning streak. Dan Ellis suffered from some hard luck in this one, as the Rangers scored the game-tying goal on a Brad Richards shot that went off the board, off Ellis' skate and into the net. Despite the ugly four-goal outcome, Ellis played terrifically well in this game. (Updated 4/25/13).

04/21/2013 20:57 Hurricanes hold off Lightning behind Tlusty's goals
Jiri Tlusty scored two first-period goals and Dan Ellis stopped 34 shots to lead the Carolina Hurricanes to a 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday night.
Dan Ellis is a solid back-up goalie who could certainly eek out a .500 record in very limited action. He also won't completely ruin your cumulative categories (GAA, save %) if you press him into action. But there are better options out there for your depth twinetender. (Updated 8/14/12)
