Fantasy Analysis
Kari Lehtonen appears to have avoided a serious injury, as Stars' GM Joe Nieuwendyk said the meniscus would only keep him out for about two weeks if it were the NHL regular season. Lehtonen plans on staying in his native Finland for a little bit, but will fly back to Dallas at some point to have the knee looked at. Barring further complications, this should not have any effect on his 2012-13 season. (Updated 05/16/2012).

04/01/2012 01:08 Sharks zip Stars, back in playoff chase
Joe Pavelski scored two goals, Antti Niemi earned his sixth shutout of the season and the San Jose Sharks moved back into playoff position by beating the Dallas Stars 3-0 on Saturday night.
Lehtonen appeared in a career-high 69 games, racking up a career high in wins (34) as would be expected. His 2.55 GAA was also a career best, despite an often suspect defense in front of him. It figures to be another tough year for the Stars overall, but Lehtonen's proved capable of handling a full load after a few years where he was limited due a litany of injuries. (Updated 10/4/11)
