Fantasy Analysis
He hadn't had a multi-point effort since scoring two goals against Toronto back on March 4. It's been an inconsistent fantasy season for Marek Zidlicky, who's collected a useful 38 PIMs to go with his 19 points this year, though his minus-10 rating won't garner much appreciation. (Updated 4/23/13).

Whose pricetags for next season will take a hit after the current season concludes? Dan Pennucci takes a look in his latest edition of Blue Line Buzz.
Formerly one of the leagues most consistent scoring defensemen, Marek Zidlicky had a horrific start to last year with Minnesota before being traded to New Jersey prior to the deadline. The Devils had a glaring need for a power-play quarterback, but Zidlicky didnt light up the scoresheet upon arriving in Newark, notching eight points in 22 games with New Jersey. Hes never been a big goal scorer in his career, but the Devils are hoping he can feed Ilya Kovalchuk consistently on the power play and make a great outlet pass to start the attack. Be cautious about the 35-year old Zidlicky, but hes just a season removed from notching 43 points and he can still dish the puck. Expect him to make a run at 30 points. (Updated 8/14/12)
