Fantasy Analysis
Brandon Prust initially suffered the injury early in the third period of Game 4, but was able put the rib back in place himself. He soldiered on until the overtime period when the rib dislodged again and the pain became too much. He anticipates about three weeks of rest and therapy will "stick it back together and get it healed." (Updated 5/12/13).
05/09/2013 22:03 Senators knock out Canadiens with 6-1 win in Game 5
Craig Anderson made 33 saves and Cory Conacher scored twice on a shaky Peter Budaj as the Ottawa Senators advanced to the second round of the playoffs Thursday night with a 6-1 rout of the Montreal Canadiens.
05/07/2013 22:40 Turris notches OT winner, Sens lead Habs 3-1 in series
Kyle Turris scored 2:32 into overtime, lifting the Ottawa Senators past the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 to grab a 3-1 lead in their playoff series Tuesday night.
Brandon Prust was signed to a four-year deal in the offseason to essentially make the Canadiens a tougher fight on any given night. He offers some skill from the fourth line and has experience on the penalty kill, but his calling card is that of an enforcer, a role he filled with aplomb during his tenure with the Rangers. Prust's bigggest contribution for fantasy teams will be his penalty minutes (156 PIMs in 2011-12), but his presence on the roster will change more than just the culture on this team, but it will also alter the perceptions of opponents playing the Canadiens.
