Fantasy Analysis
Troy Brouwer had been quiet offensively this postseason, but has some experience with deep playoff runs from his days in Chicago. The Caps are hoping for some more offensive production from Brouwer and will need help from everyone if they are to stay alive in Game 6. (Updated 05/07/2012).
05/09/2012 23:24 Capitals again show resilience in forcing Game 7 with Rangers
The Capitals have been kicked in the gut so many times in this series and have responded every time. They responded with perhaps their best game of the series in Game 6 and forced a winner-take-all game on Saturday in New York.
04/30/2012 15:36 A look at the players facing the toughest assignments in playoffs
The Flyers checking line of Sean Couturier, Max Talbot and Eric Wellwood has been getting the toughest assignments of any line in the NHL this postseason. It's creating a lot of opportunities for Danny Briere.
The Capitals made a splash in free agency and one of their new guys is this talented young winger. Brouwer has averaged 30 points in his first full three seasons in the NHL and will try to crack the top six in camp. Already coming from a talented offense in Chi-town, do not expect him to put up crazy numbers in D.C. It is safe to assume that he can put up 50 points, 100 shots, and 200 hits in the red, white, and blue, however. Consider him a decent-but-not-great option at wing in most formats. He's also coming off a torn labrum, but is expected to be OK for the regular season. (Updated 10/4/11)
