Fantasy Analysis
Thirteen of the power forward's scores have come in the third period. He remains tied with Scott Hartnell for the NHL-lead in power-play goals (13), even after a five-game drought. James Neal and Evgeni Malkin continue to provide much of the scoring for Pittsburgh. (Updated 02/08/2012).
02/11/2012 17:43 Malkin huge as Penguins beat Jets
Evgeni Malkin added to his NHL-leading point total, scoring a goal and dishing out four assists as the Pittsburgh Penguins rolled past the Winnipeg Jets 8-5 on Saturday.

Marc-Andre Fleury made 28 saves, and Evgeni Malkin had a power-play goal to lift the Pittsburgh Penguins over the Boston Bruins 2-1 Saturday, their ninth win in 10 games.
Neal hopes to wipe his slate clean heading into 2011-12 after a disastrous mid-season start with Pittsburgh last winter. Always a streaky scorer, Neal picked up 21 goals in 59 games with Dallas before netting just one score in 20 games with the Pens. He's only 24 and is scheduled to play alongside Sidney Crosby and/or Evgeni Malkin at times. With less pressure on Neal to produce, one can expect a season in which the power forward returns to 25-30 goal production. (Updated 10/4/11)
