Well, the Penguins certainly have quite the hole to dig themselves out of, as they're down 3-0 in the series and will be missing three players due to suspension when the series resumes Wednesday, including their second-leading scorer in James Neal. (Updated 04/17/2012).
04/30/2012 15:36 A look at the players facing the toughest assignments in playoffs
The Flyers checking line of Sean Couturier, Max Talbot and Eric Wellwood has been getting the toughest assignments of any line in the NHL this postseason. It's creating a lot of opportunities for Danny Briere.
Neal hopes to wipe his slate clean heading into 2011-12 after a disastrous mid-season start with Pittsburgh last winter. Always a streaky scorer, Neal picked up 21 goals in 59 games with Dallas before netting just one score in 20 games with the Pens. He's only 24 and is scheduled to play alongside Sidney Crosby and/or Evgeni Malkin at times. With less pressure on Neal to produce, one can expect a season in which the power forward returns to 25-30 goal production. (Updated 10/4/11)
