Fantasy Analysis
With 28 points (14G, 14A) in 57 games, the 25-year-old winger should easily best his previous high of 29 points in 82 games he set last year. While Vancouver has numerous offensive weapons, Jannik Hansen adds some nice scoring depth to an already deep team. (Updated 02/16/2012).
03/31/2012 00:59 Canucks within one point of Blues in West
Max Lapierre had a goal and two assists, Henrik Sedin added three assists and the Vancouver Canucks beat Dallas 5-2 on Friday, dropping the Stars from the third seed in the Western Conference to the seventh spot.
03/25/2012 01:08 Canucks clinch 4th straight division title
Chris Higgins had two goals, including the winner at 1:40 of overtime, and Vancouver rallied to beat the Colorado Avalanche 3-2 on Saturday night as the Canucks wrapped up their fourth straight Northwest Division crown.
03/21/2012 23:09 Shaw, Blackhawks top Canucks in OT
Rookie Andrew Shaw scored 2:42 into overtime to give the Chicago Blackhawks a 2-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday.
Hansen finished the 2010-11 season with a career-high 29 points (9 G, 20 A), skating primarily with the third and fourth lines. His success was rewarded with a three-year, $4-million contract from the Canucks this summer. He doesnt rack up many penalty minutes from his spot on the lower lines, but the 25-year-old has enough offensive upside to remain on radars in deep leagues that value grinders.
