| Fantasy Analysis |
Kennedy hasn't recorded any points in his last five games played now and has just 16 on the year. He has dealt with some injury issues, but Kennedy has marginal Fantasy appeal when healthy since he is an inconsistent scorer. (Updated 01/31/2010).

Dvorak nets hat trick, Vokoun makes 46 saves as Panthers top Pens
Radek Dvorak scored three goals for his third NHL hat trick, and Tomas Vokoun stopped 46 shots as the Florida Panthers beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-2 on Sunday night, sending the Stanley Cup champions to their season-high, fifth straight loss.
|
| While many of the Penguins' top skaters, including Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, were clutch during the team's Stanley Cup run in 2008-09, second-year forward Tyler Kennedy also had a few surprising key moments. Kennedy tied Malkin for the team lead with three game-winning goals in the postseason, but none were more important than the winner in Game 6 against Detroit that kept Pittsburgh alive to clinch the Cup in Game 7. It was a fitting end for Kennedy, who opened the season with two goals in a win against Ottawa. Kennedy set career highs across the board in games played (65), goals (15), assists (20), points (35) and plus-minus (15). Kennedy spent a lot of time bouncing between wing and center as well as scoring and lower lines. He was a wild card forward for the Pens. Kennedy should play a similar role in 2009-10. The 23-year-old forward remains just a low-end Fantasy flier for the deepest of formats. (Updated 8/24/09) |
