Bourque able to practice somewhat: The Calgary Herald reports that Flames RW Rene Bourque (shoulder) managed to participate in some of Tuesday's practice, wearing a non-contact jersey.

Bourque got crushed by Kurtis Foster on Saturday, and hopefully this injury doesn't keep him out for long after the Olympics. Bourque is a solid start in all Fantasy leagues when healthy and playing well.

Iginla scores two, sets up two as Flames burn Oilers for six goals
Jarome Iginla had two goals and two assists to help Calgary beat Edmonton 6-1 on Saturday night to end the Flames' losing streak at nine and extend the Oilers' skid to 13 games -- one off their franchise record.

Blues' Conklin shuts down Flames 2-0
Ty Conklin made 34 saves for his third shutout of the season and the Blues beat the struggling Flames 2-0 Monday.

| Rene Bourque's career was headed in the wrong direction before arriving in Calgary last season. After posting 16 goals and 34 points as a rookie in 2005-06, Bourque sustained two straight injury-plagued seasons with the Blackhawks and his career began a quick downward spiral. He then got a fresh start with the Flames and once again started to round into form. Unfortunately, Bourque missed the final 24 games of the regular-season with a sprained ankle. But that was about the only disappointment in '08-09 for the four-year vet. He had career highs in goal (21), assists (19), points (40) and plus-minus (18). His plus-18 rating was good enough for second on the Flames. He also tied for fourth in goals. Bourque heads into 2009-10 as one of the Flames' top-returning scorers and penalty killers, but it will be interesting to see how his game develops under first-year coach Brent Sutter.
