Fantasy Analysis
Rostislav Olesz was not claimed on waivers, so he'll report to Rockford for the time being. Olesz appeared in just six games with the Blackhawks and did not record a point, but expect him to receive regular ice time with Rockford so the team can get an extended look at him. (Updated 11/17/2011).

The Chicago Blackhawks have given Stan Bowman a three-year contract extension through the 2015-16 season, rewarding the youngest general manager in the NHL with more opportunities to bring home another Stanley Cup championship.
The Blackhawks are hoping that new scenery will bolster Olesz's career. He was the seventh overall pick by the Panthers in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and has not lived up to his billing. Acquired by the Blackhawks as part of a trade sending away Brian Campbell, Olesz hit bottom with only six goals and 11 assists in 2010-11. He is also coming off knee surgery, so it's possible he could start in Rockford of the AHL. (Updated 10/4/11)
