Fantasy Analysis
Benoit Pouliot subbed in for the ailing Brad Marchand on Thursday on a line with Patrice Bergeron and Tyler Seguin and did not look one bit out of place. With 13 points in 32 games, Pouliot is a marginal fantasy option, but he's come on after a slow start and has been a solid contributor on the B's third line, along with his speedy linemates, Chris Kelly and Rich Peverley. How will the Week 14 schedule affect your Fantasy team? Brian Rutherford breaks it down in this week's edition of Right on Schedule.
Pouliot, who scored 13 goals and 30 points in 79 games with Montreal this past season, is a reclamation project who brings size and skill to the table, but has not lived up to his fourth-overall draft position (2005). At one year for $1.1 million though, he's a decent roll of the dice for the Bruins, who are trying to fill the void up front created by the departures of Michael Ryder and Mark Recchi.
