Fantasy Analysis
Preds' coach Barry Trotz told reporters on Saturday that there was a 'high probability' that both A.K. 46 and Alexander Radulov would return to the lineup after missing two games. The two players were suspended one game (Game 3) for violating a team rule and Trotz kept them out for Game 4 after deciding to go forward with the same roster he used in the win in Game 3. 05/08/2012 11:31 Where do the Predators, Ryan Suter go from here after disappointing exit?
The Nashville Predators were seen as a real Cup contender this season, but after being bounced by the Coyotes in five games, the questions begin about what happens with Ryan Suter and the rest of the roster.
05/08/2012 01:10 Coyotes advance to conference finals
Mike Smith stopped 32 shots and the Phoenix Coyotes beat the Nashville Predators 2-1 on Monday night to earn their first trip to the Western Conference finals.
Kostitsyn brings with him the burden of expectations and hasnt fulfilled the promise he showed in his 53-point season in 2007-08. He was pretty inconsistent last season, but played well in the final months and into the playoffs, and was re-signed to a one-year deal in the offseason. He started showing consistency when coach Jacques Martin dropped him to the third line with Lars Eller. If youre a believer in players playing hard in their contract year, then Kostitsyn, who becomes unrestricted next summer, might be your man. (Updated 10/4/11)
