News: Adam Cracknell was placed on waivers by the Blues on Friday, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Cracknell Can't Crack Blues' Lineup

News: It appears that Magnus Paajarvi and not Adam Cracknell has benefited from Ryan Reaves' hand injury.
Analysis: Adam Cracknell has been a healthy scratch all but six games this season. Even with regular playing time, he might not be worth a roster spot on a fantasy squad.

Cracknell Cracks Lineup In St. Louis

News: Adam Cracknell made the final roster in St. Louis as they prepare for the start of the season, according to Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Analysis: It came down to Adam Cracknell and fellow fourth-line forward Chris Porter. Cracknell made the team based on his ability to play center as well as wing. However, he's a role player who will have little fantasy value.

Blues Re-Sign Cracknell To One-Year Deal

News: Adam Cracknell re-signed with the Blues on a one-year contract on Friday.

Cracknell Could Be Odd Man Out For Blues

News: If TJ Oshie returns to the lineup Tuesday, Adam Cracknell could be scratched.
Analysis: Adam Cracknell was a healthy scratch in two of the last seven games. However, the fourth line of Cracknell, Chris Porter and Ryan Reaves has been arguably the Blues' best line during their late-season surge. This is only important in the deepest of leagues, as Cracknell is at best a marginal player for fantasy purposes.

Blues' Cracknell Scores First Two Goals Of Year

News: Adam Cracknell scored two goals in Thursday's shootout win over the Blackhawks, his first two markers of the season.
Analysis: To be fair, he'd only played in eight games this year, but Adam Cracknell entered play with just four goals in 34 career NHL contests. Largely a career minor leaguer, he's picked up 33 points in 49 games for AHL Peoria. Don't expect him to repeat this offensive feat very often.

Blues' Affiliate Promotes Cracknell

News: AHL Peroia head coach Jared Bednar promoted Adam Cracknell to the team's top line, which immediately produced two first-period goals in a loss to Rockford, the Peoria Journal-Star reports. Cracknell scored the Rivermen's first goal and assisted on the second.
Analysis: Adam Cracknell took the spot that was occupied by former NHL-er Jonathan Cheechoo. "Cracknell was the bright spot for our team for two games. Just excellent all weekend. He was physical, delivered a heavy, tough game, played his heart out and created scoring chances. He likes to go to the net, and his forechecking is so strong he can retrieve pucks for the other guys. I felt that line needed that," said Bednar.

Cracknell Lights It For Blues

News: Adam Cracknell scored the game-winning goal late in the third period of St. Louis' win over Tampa Bay on Wednesday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Analysis: The 26-year-old Adam Cracknell will most certainly begin this season in the AHL at Peoria, but the organization liked him enough to re-sign him as a free agent in the offseason. He made his NHL debut last year and had seven points in 24 games with the Blues, though being a promotable depth-forward at the AHL level seems to be his hockey role.

Cracknell Re-Ups With St. Louis

News: The Blues have re-signed Cracknell, according to the team's official site.
Analysis: Cracknell is a prospect who made 24 appearances with the Blues last season, netting three goals to go along with four helpers. The forward, who will turn 28 years old on July 15, added 25 points (6 G, 19 A) with AHL Peoria in 2010-11. Cracknell should be viewed as organizational depth for the time being.

News: Cracknell was assigned to the AHL on Sunday, Alton Telegraph writer Lou Korac reports.

Cracknell Scores In Blues' Win

News: Cracknell scored his second goal of the season in St. Louis' win over Edmonton on Thursday.
Analysis: Cracknell is one of several former AHLers getting ice time in the final days of the season with injuries and trades creating opportunities for some of the organization's youngsters. He's not a top prospect, but has shown a scoring ability at lower levels. He benefited from Patrik Berglund's injury to get a few more minutes than normal against Edmonton.
