Sharks' Pavelski Continues To Roll

News: Joe Pavelski put up a goal and an assist in Monday's 4-0 shutout over the visiting Canadiens.
Analysis: Little Joe just continues to roll, having recorded 59 points in 64 games this season. More impressively, since Jan. 13, he hasn't gone pointless in consecutive games, piling up 22 points -- split evenly between goals and assists -- in 21 games. Joe Pavelski is right in line with last year's 41-goal, 79-point breakout, and will need to continue to score with regularity for the Sharks to have any hope of extending their playoff streak to 11 straight seasons.

Pavelski Notches Two Helpers As Sharks Win

News: Joe Pavelski had two assists -- one on an empty-net goal -- Thursday in a 5-2 win over Dallas.
Analysis: Sure, Thursday's points were cheap ones -- a secondary helper and the empty-netter -- but they all count, and with 55 points in 60 games this year, Joe Pavelski remains one of fantasy's finest assets. He's been particularly useful of late, with eight points in the last six games.

Pavelski Powers Sharks With Hat Trick

News: Joe Pavelski notched his fourth career hat trick in Friday's win over the Coyotes, tallying two goals at even strength and one on the power play in the 4-2 victory.
Analysis: Joe Pavelski's second score allowed him to hit 30 goals for the third time in his career, and the second consecutive season. Although one of the goals was an empty-netter and another took a fluky bounce off the skate of the Coyotes' Oliver Ekman-Larsson before finding twine, there's no denying that Pavelski has established himself as one of the game's premier finishers. With two months still left to play, Pavelski has a legitimate chance to match last season's personal bests of 41 goals and 79 points, numbers many felt on draft day that he would struggle to attain again.

SJ's Pavelski Assists In OT Loss

News: Joe Pavelski had an assist, two penalty minutes, and a pair of shots in Wednesday's OT loss to the Capitals.
Analysis: Joe Pavelski is doing everything you want him to. His 28 goals are sixth in the NHL. Add in his 21 assists and he's not far off of a point-per-game pace. He's also continued to be the best power play scorer in the league with 15 power-play markers on the season.

Two Goals, Assist For Sharks' Pavelski

News: Joe Pavelski sniped two more goals and added an assist in Monday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Oilers.
Analysis: With six goals and nine points in his last eight games, it's safe to say that the 30-year-old has found his mojo yet again. Despite leading the Sharks in goals with 27, Joe Pavelski hasn't exactly been a puck hog, racking up 19 assists for a point total of 46 in 51 games. Add to that 168 shots, a plus-13 rating and 19 PIM just for good measure, and you have one of the most prolific producers in fantasy.

SJ's Pavelski Collects One More Goal Before Break

News: Joe Pavelski scored a goal and played a whopping 22:39 in Wednesday's win over Los Angeles.
Analysis: That goal puts The Big Joe Pavelski on a three-game point streak and brings his season total to 24 goals, fifth best in the NHL. It was a power-play goal as well on Wednesday, raising his league-leading total of 12 power-play goals.

Analysis: Joe Pavelski now has 22 goals and 40 points in 46 games, to go with a plus-8 rating. He is tied for the league-lead with 11 power-play goals and has recorded a whopping 148 shots on goal. Four of his last nine outings have been multi-point efforts, making him one of the most feared scorers in the league. You know what to do.

Sharks' Pavelski On Four-Game Streak

News: Joe Pavelski scored a goal, assisted on another and went plus-2 in Tuesday's overtime win against the Wild, giving him points in four straight games.
Analysis: He's racked up an impressive seven points (four of them goals) over the course of this little run. Joe Pavelski continues to lead the Sharks in goals (21, seven ahead of Logan Couture) and points (37, three up on Couture).

Sharks' Pavelski Grabs Two Points In Win

News: Joe Pavelski assisted on a pair of goals in Monday's 3-2 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Joe Pavelski now has a three game point streak, two of which were multi-point efforts. The 30-year-old has been great all season, as he's on pace to reach the 70-point plateau for just the second time in his career, though besting his total of 79 from last season could be challenging.

Pavelski Scores In Embarrassing San Jose Loss

News: Joe Pavelski registered a goal and a respectable, all things considered, minus-1 rating in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Blues.
Analysis: Joe Pavelski has been playing great recently. He's got five goals and an assist in the last six games. That hot stretch goes even further back with 10 goals and three assists over the last 13 games.

Sharks' Pavelski Nets Two More Goals

News: Joe Pavelski scored twice, including the game winner, in Wednesday's 3-0 victory over Anaheim. He has nine points, including seven goals, in his last nine games.
Analysis: He's on pace for another 40-goal season, although his overall point total probably won't quite match last season's delicious heights. That's OK -- 40-goal men are auto-rolls anyway.

Sharks' Pavelski Scores In Third Straight Game

News: Joe Pavelski scored a point in his third straight game Saturday against the Kings, tallying the Sharks' lone goal.
Analysis: A three-game point streak is rather modest by Joe Pavelski's standards, but his relative consistency game-to-game shouldn't go underappreciated. He's gone no more than two consectuive contests without a point this season and isn't too far off the pace from his career-best 79-point showing in 2013-14.

Sharks' Pavelski Pots Two

News: Joe Pavelski scored a power-play goal and an even-strength marker in Tuesday's win over Edmonton.
Analysis: He put the goals in on his only two shots -- how do you like that for efficiency? Joe Pavelski's a bit off last year's scoring pace, but is still scoring at a rate that'll see him clear 60 points if he stays healthy and consistent.

Sharks' Pavelski Busts Out With Three Points

News: Joe Pavelski was at the center of the Sharks' seven-goal outburst Thursday against the Bruins, potting two of his own, assisting on another, and attempting a team-high nine shots on the evening.
Analysis: Joe Pavelski also won 7-of-9 faceoffs and chipped in two PIM in what marked perhaps his most all-around dominating performance of the season. The forward's first goal of the game was his seventh power-play marker of the season, tying him for the league lead in that category with Evgeni Malkin, Gustav Nyquist and Brock Nelson.

Pavelski Adds Points In Sharks Shutout Win

News: Joe Pavelski had an assist, a plus-1 rating, two penalty minutes, and two shots in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Hurricanes.
Analysis: Joe Pavelski is adding value across categories. He might not be hitting a pace for 40+ goals right now, but owners can't be disappointed in how he's performing.

Sharks' Pavelski: Team Leader In Goals

News: Joe Pavelski scored the Sharks' only goal in a 2-1 loss to Columbus on Saturday night.

Sharks' Pavelski Scores Twice In Loss

News: Joe Pavelski scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength marker in Sunday's loss to Chicago.

Pavelski has netted an impressive four power-play goals this season and has been credited with 56 shots on goal in just 16 games. He's money on a high scoring San Jose team.

SJ's Pavelski Has Four Points In Four Games

News: Joe Pavelski added an assist to San Jose's win over Dallas on Saturday, giving him four assists over the last four games.
Analysis: Those assists are getting Joe Pavelski closer to a point-per-game pace, but his goal-scoring is way down from last year's 41-goal effort. Pavelski is getting top line minutes and playing with Joe Thornton, but is only on pace for 27 goals.

Sharks' Pavelski Keeps Producing

News: Joe Pavelski collected a pair of assists and a plus-1 rating Thursday in a shootout loss to the Wild.
Analysis: One of the assists came on the power play. Joe Pavelski only put one shot in goal in this game, making it the polar opposite of Tuesday's outing, in which he put 10 pucks on net and didn't record a point.

SJ's Pavelski Takes Ten Shots In Loss

News: Joe Pavelski fired ten shots at Semyon Varlamov in Tuesday's win over Colorado, though he didn't get on the scoresheet.
Analysis: Joe Pavelski has 39 shots on the season, which is sixth best in the NHL. Like last year, you can count on him for some good shot totals, as well as point totals. He's currently on pace for 37 goals and 30 assists.

Sharks' Pavelski Nets Power-Play Marker

News: Joe Pavelski scored his fifth goal of the season -- a power play tally -- and racked up five PIM in Sunday's win over Anaheim.
Analysis: Joe Pavelski's three power-play goals are tied for second-best in the league, while his 29 shots on goal are also impressive. Through 10 games, the 30-year has recorded five goals and nine points, to go with a plus-5 rating. Skating on the top line and top power-play unit, Pavelski should continue to produce at close to a point-per-game pace.

Sharks' Pavelski Pots Two

News: Joe Pavelski scored a pair of goals in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Analysis: While they were big goals at the time -- a power-play tally to give the Sharks a 2-0 first-period lead and an even-strength goal to tie the game at 3-3 -- it wasn't enough to get the team a win. But that blame can hardly be set at Joe Pavelski's feet. He's off to a point-per-game start over eight games this year, and six of those points have come in his last four contests.

Sharks' Pavelski: Three Point Outburst

News: Joe Pavelski had a big fantasy night Saturday in a win over the Devils. He scored a power-play goal and added two assists, one of which came with the man advantage.
Analysis: He has five points in his last four games. Most pundits pegged Joe Pavelski for a drop in output from last season and we agree -- how many guys whose production spikes at age 29 figure out a way to replicate or better those numbers? Still, a 25- to 30-goal, 60- to 65-point campaign is within reach.

Sharks' Pavelski Nets First Goal

News: Joe Pavelski scored his first goal of the season in Tuesday's shootout victory over the Capitals.
Analysis: In addition to notching the tally in regulation, Joe Pavelski was the only skater to score in the shootout, aiding the Sharks to their third victory in as many games. Eclipsing last season's 79-point total might be a stretch for Pavelski, but with Joe Thornton and Tomas Hertl working with him on the top line, another huge campaign seems to be in the forecast.
