Hall Contributes In First Game As A Flyer

News: Adam Hall was plus-1 in his first game in Philly, as the Flyers beat up Toronto 5-3 Thursday.
Analysis: Adam Hall played on a line with sophomore center Sean Couturier. His biggest contribution came when he and newcomer Jay Rosehill sandwiched Joffrey Lupul, subsequently knocking Lupul out of the game.

Flyers Claim Hall Off Waivers

News: The Flyers claimed Adam Hall off waivers from the Lightning on Wednesday, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Adam Hall, who posted zero goals, four assists and a plus-1 rating in 26 NHL games this season, will provide the Flyers with some forward depth, but won't be much of a fantasy factor with his new club.

Lightning Get Hall Back

News: The Hurricanes traded Adam Hall and a seventh-round pick in the 2013 Draft to the Lightning for Marc-Andre Bergeron, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Adam Hall, who appeared in 20 games with the Lightning earlier this season, had been claimed on waivers by the Hurricanes last month, but he heads back to Tampa Bay -- where he will once again provide forward depth -- with a grand total of four assists and 23 PIMs in 26 NHL games this season.

Hurricanes Claim Hall Off Waivers

News: The Hurricanes claimed Adam Hall off waivers from the Lightning on Saturday.
Analysis: Adam Hall appeared in 20 games with the Lightning this season, but he picked up just four assists and no goals over that span, so it's unlikely he will be a fantasy factor in his new digs.

Tampa Bay Places Hall On Waivers

News: Adam Hall has been placed on waivers, TSN's Darren Dreger reports.

Bolts' Hall Returns After Healthy Scratch

News: Updating an earlier report, Adam Hall returned to the lineup Monday after being a healthy scratch. He did not suffer from a hamstring injury.
Analysis: He only played 7:29 and was schooled in the face-off circle (one for six), a place that he was supposed to dominate. He has minimal fantasy value.

Lightning's Hall Back In Lineup Monday

News: Adam Hall (hamstring) will return to the lineup Monday, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Adam Hall has been a scratch the past two games, but with forwards Pierre-Cedric Labrie, Ryan Malone, and Benoit Pouliot all out for Monday's game, Hall will slide into the lineup. Hall has not played in a game since February 24, which was also against the Penguins.

Bolts' Hall: Healthy Scratch

News: Adam Hall has been a healthy scratch for the last two games.
Analysis: The team needed a seventh defender more than they needed Adam Hall's prowess in the face-off circle. But expect him back in there soon -- the Bolts lost 37 of 57 draws Saturday and 38 of 57 on Thursday.

Lightning's Hall Heads To Germany

News: Adam Hall is going to play in Germany during the NHL lockout, the Tampa Tribune reports.
Analysis: Adam Hall signed a contract to play for Ravensburg, a team in Germany's second division. Hall is the second Lightning player to play overseas after Victor Hedman signed with a team in Russia. "You have to do whatever you can, whether it's here in Tampa or guys going back home or finding other places to train or play," Hall said. "Guys just need to find the best places to train."

Lightning Sign Hall

News: Adam Hall agreed to a one-year, one-way deal with the Lightning on Friday, the Lightning Team Website reports.
Analysis: Adam Hall played in 57 games last season with Tampa Bay, collecting two goals and seven points to go along with 17 penalty minutes. He also ranked second in the NHL in faceoff percentage amongst players with at least 200 faceoff wins at 59.5 percent.

News: Adam Hall (upper body) will not play against the Islanders on Saturday, TampaBayLightning.com reports.
Analysis: Adam Hall appears to be no worse than day-to-day, but this is the third straight game he has missed.

Bolts' Hall Suffers Upper-Body Injury

News: Adam Hall suffered an upper-body injury in Saturday's game but was able to finish the contest, reports the Tampa Times.

Lightning's Hall Returns Saturday Night

News: Adam Hall (arm) skated during pregame warmups and should be on the ice for Saturday's game against Buffalo, the Tampa Tribune's Erik Erlendsson reports.
Analysis: Adam Hall returns only four weeks after suffering a torn muscle that was expected to keep him out for eight weeks. He does not put up sufficient numbers to be a fantasy option even when completely healthy.

Lightning's Hall Scratched Thursday Night

News: Adam Hall (arm) is not in the lineup on Thursday night against the Rangers, the Lightning's Official Twitter reports.
Analysis: It is unclear whether or not this is related to his arm injury. Adam Hall has only tallied three points in 37 games this season, and could be a healthy scratch some nights even once he is fully recovered.

Lightning's Hall Participates In Contact Practice

News: Adam Hall (arm) skated without a non-contact jersey Tuesday, the team's official Twitter page reports.
Analysis: Adam Hall has been cleared for practice and appears ready to return to game action. Hall only has three points (1G, 2A) through 37 games, so he isn't much of a fantasy option. However, he may be ready to make his return Tuesday against Los Angeles, and his face-off skills could provide a boost for the Lightning.

Bolts' Hall (Arm) On Verge Of Return

News: Adam Hall (arm) is optimistic he could return for one of the final two games on the Lightning's current home stand, Eric Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune.
Analysis: What a quick healer -- less than four weeks ago, Adam Hall was expected to miss eight weeks. Today, he's on the verge of return. He's far more valuable on the ice than in the fantasy arena but it's nice to see the face-off ace recover so quickly.

Lightning's Hall Making Progress

News: Diagnosed with a torn arm muscle and expected to miss up to eight weeks, Adam Hall stepped on the ice late Friday morning wearing a red non-contact jersey well ahead of schedule, according to TSN.ca.
Analysis: Coach Guy Boucher said it's still early in Adam Hall's recovery process, so there is still plenty of expected missed time ahead of him. Monitor his status, although with just three points in 37 games, there is no rush to have him back in your fantasy lineup.

Bolts' Hall Out Two Months With Torn Muscle

News: Adam Hall will miss eight weeks with a torn arm muscle, Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune reports.
Analysis: Adam Hall only had three points in 37 games, so the injury shouldn't have much impact for fantasy rosters. On the ice, his abilities to win face-offs will be an acute loss for Tampa -- he doesn't have enough to qualify for the NHL lead, but if he did, his 62.5 winning percentage would be first in the league.

Bolts' Hall (Upper Body) Could Be Out For A While

News: Adam Hall (upper body) could be out for a while, says Eric Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune.
Analysis: He says the club wouldn't give specifics of the injury -- other than to say it's not a concussion -- and that the winger requires treatment.

Tampa's Hall Out Indefinitely

News: Adam Hall (upper body) is out indefinitely, TampaBayLightning.com reports.
Analysis: With just three points (one goal) in 37 games this year, Adam Hall's absence shouldn't change anything for fantasy leagues.

Lightning's Hall Tallies Rare Point

News: Adam Hall broke a 26-game point-less streak Tuesday with an assist on Bruno Gervais' goal in the Lightning's win over the Flyers.
Analysis: Without a doubt you had that exacta working for you in Vegas for the first goal in this game.

Hall Re-Ups With Lightning

News: Hall has agreed to a one-year deal to remain with the Lightning, the Tampa Tribune reports.
Analysis: Hall scored a modest seven goals and 18 points in 82 games this past season, but what earns him his keep with the Lightning is his role as a valuable penalty killer and his ability on faceoffs.

Hall Scores for Lightning

News: Hall scored his fourth goal of the season Saturday. It was the game-winner.
Analysis: It was an absolute gift after a wonky clearing attempt by Patrick Lalime put the puck right on Hall's stick with an open net in front of him. He has goals in back-to-back games and he now has seven points on the season. His fantasy value is minimal.

Second Chance with Bolts for Gritty Hall

News: Hall has performed well this preseason and is pushing hard to earn a roster spot with the Lightning, reports the Tampa Tribune.
Analysis: He picked up a pair of goals in the team's first preseason by driving the net and popping home rebounds, and then dropped his gloves to show he's no pushover. "I think there is a role for a player like him. He was an effective guy in Nashville when I played against him," general manager Steve Yzerman said. "There is an opportunity here for him."

Hall has 'minor' procedure done

News: The St. Petersburg Times reports Lightning GM Brian Lawton said forward Adam Hall had "minor" surgery to repair a sports hernia and is expected to be ready for training camp.
Analysis: Hall played in his first season with the Lighting in 2008-09 after signing a three-year contract last summer. He totaled five goals, 10 points and a minus-9 rating in 74 games. Hall chews up minutes as a lower-line forward and on the penalty kill, but is no longer a 20-point threat. He has little to no Fantasy value outside of leagues that reward heavily for short-handed stats.
