Canucks' H. Sedin Scores First Of 2015 Playoffs

News: Henrik Sedin scored his first goal of the playoffs on a power play Tuesday against Calgary, but he was the only one to beat Jones Hiller in a 3-1 Game 4 loss.
Analysis: Henrik was uncharacteristically shot-happy in this one, firing a game-high six pucks on net, which was rewarding to his fantasy owners, but not his teammates. Now he and the Canucks are a game away from elimination, and Henrik has just two points to show for four playoff games -- as does his brother Daniel.

Canucks' H.Sedin Collects Two Assists

News: Henrik Sedin picked up two assists in Saturday's win over Edmonton.
Analysis: Henrik Sedin enters the playoffs scorching hot, having racked up seven points in his last four games. He finishes 10th in the NHL scoring race with 73 points in 82 games. His 55 assists were fifth most in the league and he's now recorded at least 50 helpers in eight of his last nine full seasons. If the Canucks can get past the first round, Sedin could post some impressive numbers in the postseason.

Canucks' H. Sedin Notches Two More Helpers

News: Henrik Sedin picked up a power-play assist and an even-strength assist Thursday in a 5-0 win over Arizona.
Analysis: Henrik's now on a three-game point streak and has cleared the 70-point mark for the eighth time in his career. He and his brother are just wrapping up what's been an outstanding bounceback campaign.

H. Sedin Connects With Twin Bro For Score

News: Henrik Sedin registered an assist in Monday's 2-1 shootout win over the Kings.
Analysis: Henrik Sedin connected with his twin brother, Daniel, for the Canucks' lone score in regulation. Henrik has appeared in every game this season, registering 18 goals and 51 assists in the process. He hasn't played all 82 since the 2010-11 campaign.

Canucks' H. Sedin Rips Off Three Points In Win

News: Henrik Sedin scored an empty-net goal and picked up two assists -- one on the power play -- Tuesday in a 5-2 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Sure, his 17th of the year was an empty-netter, but they all count, and Henrik now has goals in consecutive games. He's threatening to reach 20 for the first time since 2009-10, and his 65 points are a relief to fantasy owners who were burned by the Henrik Sedin brothers last year.

Canucks' Sedin Scores Empty-Net Goal

News: Henrik Sedin scored an empty-net goal in Sunday's win over Arizona.
Analysis: While his brother Daniel has been lighting it up of late, Henrik has managed just two points in his last seven games. The 34-year-old still has 62 points in 72 games on the season and with the Canucks in the thick of the playoff race, expect Henrik Sedin to be a key producer in this final stretch drive. Keep him rolling.

Canucks' H. Sedin Hitting A Wall

News: Henrik Sedin registered an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's loss to the Blue Jackets.
Analysis: The 34-year-old's bounce-back campaign has seemed to hit the skids over the past two weeks. In his last seven games, Henrik Sedin has gone without a goal and contributed a mere two assists and 11 shot attempts. The timing of the slump couldn't be any worse for Sedin's owners, as many are set to begin or are already in the midst of the fantasy playoffs.

Canucks' H. Sedin Scores Twice In Loss

News: Henrik Sedin scored both Canucks goals -- one on the power play -- but went minus-3 in a loss to the Sharks on Tuesday.
Analysis: Vancouver fell behind early in this one, as goalie Jacob Markstrom put them in a 3-0 hole, but Henrik Sedin -- in tandem with brother Daniel, of course -- drew the team back within a single goal with a pair of second-period tallies. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough, as the Sharks scored three unanswered goals after that. The minus-3 rating is a rare occurrence for the veteran center, who hasn't finished in the negative for a season since his rookie year, and with a plus-7 this year, he probably will maintain that streak. Speaking of streaks, Henrik's found the scoresheet in eight consecutive games, with an impressive five goals and 13 points in that span. He's starting to approach a point-per-game pace.

Canucks' H. Sedin Scores To Extend Points Streak

News: Henrik Sedin potted a goal in the second period Sunday, helping the Canucks to a 6-5 shootout win over the Blues.
Analysis: Henrik Sedin extended his points streak to seven games with the marker, and he's now littered four goals and 13 assists in box scores since February began. He'll look to continue the hot streak Tuesday for a home tilt against the Sharks.

Canucks' Sedin Stays Red-Hot Sunday

News: Henrik Sedin dished out two assists in Sunday's win over the Islanders. It was his fourth straight multi-point game.
Analysis: Henrik Sedin has now recorded 42 assists this season -- third most in the NHL. He's got 54 points and a plus-10 rating in 59 games, making him one of the most reliable fantasy contributors around. The top-line center should be an automatic roll every game.

Canucks' H.Sedin Records Another Multi-Point Game

News: Henrik Sedin recorded his third straight multi-point game Friday, dishing out two assists in a win over the Devils.
Analysis: Henrik Sedin now has a whopping 40 assists this season -- third most in the NHL. After recording just 50 points last season, Henrik has rebounded with 52 points and a plus-10 rating in 58 games this time around. The 34-year-old is red-hot right now and should be an automatic roll every game.

Role Reversal For Canucks' H. Sedin

News: Henrik Sedin diverged from his usual role of assist master Thursday, scoring a pair of goals -- one on the power play -- on a season-high six shots in a shootout win over the Rangers.
Analysis: To underline just how rare nights like Thursday are for Henrik, those six shots are actually double the amount that he had managed in any other game this year, and as many as he'd taken in the previous four games combined. Meanwhile, his brother Daniel got the assists on both. Henrik has now hit 50 points, equaling his total from last season in 13 fewer games.

Canucks' H. Sedin Chips In Two Points

News: Henrik Sedin picked up a goal and an assist while skating to a plus-2 in Monday's 3-2 win over the Wild.
Analysis: The goal was the first in 13 games for Henrik, who has made up for it with nine helpers during that span. He now has 48 points in 56 games this year -- just two points shy of his disappointing 50-point campaign last season -- so it's safe to say that he and brother Daniel (47 in 56 after 47 in 73 last year) are back.

Canucks' Sedin Adds Two Assists In Win

News: Henrik Sedin collected two assists in Wedneday's 5-4 OT winner over the Blackhawks.
Analysis: Henrik and Daniel Henrik Sedin cycled the puck in the right corner of Chicago's zone early in the overtime period before Henrik set up his brother for the game winner. The center now has nine goals and 37 assists through 53 games on the season.

Canucks' H. Sedin Adds Another Assist

News: Henrik Sedin churned out an assist in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Wild.
Analysis: Henrik Sedin has attempted only three shots in the Canucks' five February games, but he's remained in asset for fantasy owners by notching four assists during that time. Ideally, Sedin would demonstrate a little more diversity in his offense, but his assist-heavy production shouldn't come as much as a surprise to those who drafted him. His goal and shot totals have been on a precipitous decline since his memorable 112-point outburst in 2009-10.

Canucks' H. Sedin Tallies Two Assists In Win

News: Henrik Sedin registered two assists in Friday's 5-2 win over the Sabres.
Analysis: Henrik Sedin's assist total now sits at 31, with nine goals added for good measure. He's been ridiculously consistent this season, never going more than three games without notching a point. Sedin is currently on pace to register 70 points this season and remains a must-start in all formats.

Canucks' H. Sedin Notches Two Points

News: Henrik Sedin scored a power-play goal and added a power-play assist Thursday against the Flyers.
Analysis: The goal came on his only shot of the game, but it was a nice one, as he snapped it right by Ray Emery, then helped Radim Vrbata chase Emery from the game. The Henrik Sedin twins had been held off the board in two straight games, but both tallied a pair of points Thursday. Henrik's one ahead of Daniel, and both appear headed for around 70 points on the year.

Canucks' H.Sedin Scores Twice Vs. Detroit

News: Henrik Sedin scored a pair of empty-net goals, including his 300th career NHL goal, and added an assist in Saturday's win over Detroit.
Analysis: Henrik Sedin now has eight points in his past six games, putting him at eight goals and 34 points in 37 games on the season. The 34-year-old has been an assist-machine this season, registering 26 helpers -- sixth most in the NHL. Aside from a recent three-game scoring drought in mid-December, Sedin has been super consistent this season, never going more than two games without registering a point. His consistency and 70-80-point potential makes him a must-start every game.

Canucks' H. Sedin Tallies Two Assists

News: Henrik Sedin picked up a pair of assists in Tuesday's win over Phoenix.
Analysis: After being held off the score sheet for three consecutive games, Henrik Sedin has now grabbed three assists in the Canucks' last two games. Sedin continues to be a valuable fantasy commodity for his owners, racking up six goals and 23 assists in 33 games with a plus-6 rating. Fantasy owners can continue to plug Sedin into their lineup without hesitation.

Canucks' H.Sedin Picks Up Helper Sunday

News: Henrik Sedin picked up an assist for the second straight game in Sunday's loss to Ottawa.
Analysis: Henrik Sedin has been a consistent fantasy gem this season, racking up six goals and 26 points in 28 games, to go with a plus-7 rating. Considering he has only been held off the scoresheet eight times in 2014-15, Sedin is a must-start every game. Keep him rolling.

Two More Assists For Canucks' H. Sedin

News: Henrik Sedin picked up a pair of power-play assists in Tuesday's win over Washington.
Analysis: Not unusually, Henrik didn't manage a shot on goal. He assisted on both of brother Daniel's tallies, and the twins are now tied with six goals and 18 assists each. Of course they are.

Canucks' H. Sedin Grabs Two Helpers

News: Henrik Sedin picked up a pair of assists in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Oilers.
Analysis: He now has 19 points on the season, which is -- unsurprisingly -- an identical point total to his identical twin, Daniel. The veteran Henrik Sedins have looked great beside sniping winger Radim Vrbata this year, and their early-season revitalization appears to be for real as Vancouver heads into the second quarter of the season.

Canucks' H. Sedin Grabs Two Helpers

News: Henrik Sedin picked up a pair of assists and went plus-1 in Tuesday's overtime win over the Senators.
Analysis: Naturally, both of his points came alongside his brother, and Henrik assisted on Daniel's game-winning goal in the final minute of the extra frame. He'd gone scoreless in the prior two games entering Tuesday's action -- the only time this year he's gone without a point in back-to-back contests.

Canucks' H. Sedin: Four-Game Point Streak

News: Henrik Sedin extended his point streak to four games Sunday, netting a goal in a 4-2 win over the Capitals.
Analysis: The Canucks' top line of Henrik Sedin, his brother Daniel and Radim Vrbata has been among the NHL's best for the first three weeks of the season, with all three players producing 10 or more points in the team's eight games. Assuming the usually durable Sedin stays healthy, he'll have a great chance at reversing the four-year decline in his point-per-game production, though it's probably unrealistic to expect him to reemerge as the 100-point contributor he was in 2009-10.

Canucks' H. Sedin Notches Two Helpers Friday

News: Henrik Sedin continued his early-season magic with brother Daniel and winger Radim Vrbata on Friday, tallying a pair of assists in a win over Edmonton.
Analysis: The Canucks' top line has now combined for a whopping 17 points in their first three games with the twins looking like their old selves alongside Vrbata, who departed Arizona to sign in Vancouver this summer. If the trio can show they're capable of producing like this at least somewhat consistently against teams other than the lowly Oilers -- who the Canucks have played twice already -- then Henrik Sedin and his brother could prove to be two of the bigger fantasy steals this season.
