Analysis: Florida's coach said to expect an AHL callup as a result of the injury, so it wouldn't be surprising if Matt Bradley was headed to injured reserve. More details will come out in the morning.

Panthers Sign Bradley For Two Years

News: The Panthers have agreed to terms with Bradley to a two-year contract, the Sun-Sentinel reports.
Analysis: "We are very pleased to have signed Matt," said GM Dale Tallon."He is a veteran, high character, hard working forward who adds depth and a physical presence to our line-up." Bradley is accustomed to a checking role, but it remains to be seen exactly what his role will be with the Panthers, who have acquired more than a half-dozen forwards in the past week alone.

Caps' Bradley Sinks Rare Goal

News: Bradley scored on his only shot Monday night against the Coyotes, but it wasn't enough as the Capitals lost, 3-2.
Analysis: Bradley does not receive heavy playing time, which has a negative effect on his ability to get shots on goal. He'll sneak in a goal or assist every now and then, but it's not likely to be enough to appease the general fantasy population.

Caps' Bradley Still 10-14 Days Away From Return

News: Bradley (finger) is likely to miss up to two more weeks after having surgery to mend a broken finger in December, The Washington Post reports.

Bradley Out For Caps

News: Bradley (broken finger) had surgery recently to mend a broken finger suffered last week, The Washington Post reports.
Analysis: Early indications are that Bradley will miss up to four weeks, but insider sources (the doctor on HBO's "Road to the Winter Classic") said up to six weeks, but should be able to start stick handling in four. He will be missed as he is a very good two-way forward, but the team will continue to rely on their young guys.

Bradley to Return to Caps' Roster Wednesday

News: Bradley will return to the lineup in Carolina Wednesday after missing five straight, the Washington Post reports.
Analysis: Bradley was nursing a lower-body injury and was held out of the lineup for the last five games but will return Wednesday. Bradley is a role player for the team and has yet to register a point on the season. He has only played in three games and knowing his history he will not benefit your fantasy lineup.

Bradley Getting Closer For Caps; Not Likely to Play Saturday

News: Bradley (lower body) practiced for the whole time Friday, but will not play Saturday, Katie Carrera of The Washington Post reports.
Analysis: Bradley, who has not played since October 11, made it through a full practice Friday and stated: "It felt good and it's coming along." As to when the forward will return, that is unknown, but understand that Washington is letting him get back to 100 percent before getting him back in the lineup. Bradley is nothing more than a fill-in here or there so there are many others that can provide his type of fantasy services.

Caps' Bradley Sits Thursday

News: Bradley (lower body) didn't play Thursday for the fourth straight game.
Analysis: He practiced Wednesday, but apparently still isn't good to go. Still, he's not of much use in fantasy.

Caps' Bradley Practices Wednesday

News: Bradley (lower body) was on the ice for practice Wednesday, Katie Carrera of the Washington Post reports.
Analysis: He missed Tuesday's loss to Boston, but may be ready to roll Thursday night. He's a fringe fantasy option, however, so his status shouldn't have much of an impact on your lineup plans anyway.

Bradley Will Miss Second Straight Contest for Capitals

News: Bradley (lower body) did not travel with the team to Nashville Saturday, the Washington Post reports.
Analysis: Bradley will miss his second contest in as many outings with a lower-body injury. The extent of the injury has not been reported, but Bradley has little value anyway.

Bradley to Miss Caps' Contest Wednesday

News: Bradley (lower-body injury) is unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Islanders, according to the DC Pro Sports Report.
Analysis: The Caps are one of the league's stronger teams, but they're hurting a bit in the depth department right now, with Bradley, Tom Poti, Marcus Johansson and goalie Semyon Varlamov all hurting.
