Mitera Traded to Montreal

News: Mitera was traded to Montreal on Friday in exchange for Mathieu Carle, the Ducks' official site reports.
Analysis: Mitera played 71 games for the Syracuse Crucnhc of the AHL last season, posting 22 points (6 goals, 16 assists) and a minus-15 rating.

News: Mitera was sent down to Syracuse of the AHL on Thursday, according to the Orange County Register.
Analysis: Mitera has played all over the place for the Ducks since signing in March of 2009. He provides the team with depth along the blue line.
