Coyotes' Werek Inks Deal

News: The Coyotes signed newly acquired center Ethan Werek to an entry-level contract Thursday, the Arizona Republic reports.
Analysis: Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Werek was acquired by the Coyotes 12 days ago when they shipped Oscar Lindberg over to the Rangers. Werek appeared in 47 regular-season games with Kingston of the OHL in 2010-11, totaling 24 goals and 28 assists.

Coyotes Trade For Rangers' Werek

News: Werek was traded to the Coyotes in exchange for Oscar Lindberg, reports the Rangers' official site.
Analysis: Werek was the Rangers' second-round pick in the 2009 draft, and has been having success playing in the OHL, notching 52 points in 47 games this past season.
