Flames Prospect Ferland To Miss Rest Of Season

News: Michael Ferland underwent knee surgery Saturday and is expected to miss the rest of the season, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Analysis: The 21-year-old had six goals and 12 assists over 25 games for AHL Abbotsford. Michael Ferland had an outside chance at debuting with the Flames later this season, but the knee injury will quash those hopes.
