News: Brandon Bollig has been traded to the Flames for the 83rd overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, according to Randy Sportak of the Calgary Sun.
Analysis: He'll provide some physicality to the Flames and definitely get more playing time in Calgary than Chicago. Training camp will determine where he slots in, but he could be a deep-league sleeper.

News: Brandon Bollig, who was suspended for the final two games of the Stanley Cup playoff series with the Wild, skated in practice with the fourth line on Saturday, CSN Chicago reports.

Blackhawks' Bollig Suspended Two Games

News: Brandon Bollig has been suspended two games for boarding Minnesota's Keith Ballard during Friday's Game 4 loss, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Analysis: Brandon Bollig was a healthy scratch for Game 2 of the ongoing series, and he hasn't topped eight minutes in a game since the Blackhawks' first contest of the postseason went to triple-overtime. His impending absence for Games 5 and 6 could allow Kris Versteeg to rejoin the lineup.

Hawks' Bollig Out For Game 2

News: Brandon Bollig is scratched from the lineup on Sunday against the Wild, David Haugh of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Analysis: With Andrew Shaw out with an injury, Hawks' coach Joel Quenneville made a few changes including scratching Brandon Bollig. Blackhawks' Bollig Receives Three-Year Extension

News: Brandon Bollig received a three-year, $3.75 extension from the Blackhawks, Pierre LeBrun of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: With six goals and six assists over 62 games, Brandon Bollig has emerged as a credible fourth-liner for the Blackhawks this season. The contract ensures that he'll be with Chicago through the 2016-17 season. Fantasy owners will count on him to continue to supply penalty minutes (69) and hits (138) for their squads.

Hawks' Bollig Chipping In On Offense

News: Brandon Bollig has six goals and six assists in 60 games so far this season.
Analysis: The gritty winger appears to have carved out a permanent spot for himself in the Chicago lineup, and is even contributing a little offensively. Most of his value probably still lies in his 69 PIM, but he's been a pleasant surprise for fantasy owners in deeper formats this season.

Blackhawks' Bollig Picks Up Rare Goal

News: Brandon Bollig scored his fourth goal of the season in Wednesday's loss to the Rangers.
Analysis: Brandon Bollig was able to beat Henrik Lundqvist with a timely wrist shot from the left side to tie the game at two apiece in the second period. The Blackhawks mostly rely on the fourth-liner for his checking skills, but his fantasy owners will gladly accept any offensive production to complement his penalty minute and hit totals.

Bollig Scores Two Points As Hawks Roll

News: Brandon Bollig potted a goal and notched an assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Jets.
Analysis: In addition to recording the first two-point game of his career, Brandon Bollig ended up finishing with a plus-3 rating on the afternoon. Known more for his fighting than his scoring touch, this might very well be the high water mark for Bollig from a fantasy perspective this season.

Bollig Tallies For 'Hawks In Opener

News: Brandon Bollig scored a goal, took a two-minute penalty and laid five hits in Tuesday's season-opening win against the Capitals.
Analysis: Though he skated just 8:04, Brandon Bollig certainly made the most of it, scoring his first NHL goal -- his first point, in fact -- in his 44th big-league game. He's generally more known for his fisticuffs, but Bollig looked improved offensively in exhibition play and could chip in a few points to go with a pile of PIM if he can stick in the lineup consistently. And, hey, he made a pretty entertaining YouTube video in the preseason, which has to be worth something.

Blackhawks' Bollig To Sit

News: Brandon Bollig will be a healthy scratch for Monday's Game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals, NHL.com's Dan Rosen reports.
Analysis: Brandon Bollig will be replaced on the Blackhawks' fourth line by Viktor Stalberg, who was a healthy scratch in the first two games of the series. The move is expected to be made in an effort to bolster the team's offensive production. Bollig has a minus-1 rating in just over 23 minutes of action in the two Stanley Cup thus far.

Analysis: Brandon Bollig only skated in 11 games and collected 40 penalty minutes for the Blackhawks. He will get much needed ice time while being with the IceHogs. He could be the player that will be shuffled between Rockford and Chicago.

Analysis: Brandon Bollig's contract is a two-way deal in the first year and the second year is one way for $575,000 per season. A one-way deal is where the player is paid the same salary whether he is in the minors or in the NHL. Bollig was called up late in the season after John Scott was traded to the Rangers.
