Hurricanes Assign Lowe To AHL

News: The Hurricanes assigned Keegan Lowe to AHL Charlotte on Sunday, the newsobserver.com reports.
Analysis: Keegan Lowe, who has notched 11 points and 106 penalty minutes in 55 games for Charlotte this season, saw action in two games with the big club this past week, recording 10 PIM and a minus-2 rating in the process.

Hurricanes Recall Lowe

News: The Hurricanes recalled Keegan Lowe from AHL Charlotte Checkers on Wednesday, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: The 22-year-old, who was the 73rd overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft, has recorded four goals and 19 assists in 118 career games at the AHL level to date. He'll move into the team's blue line mix, with fellow defender Danny Biega on his way to Charlotte in a corresponding move.
