Blues' Rattie Reassigned

News: Ty Rattie was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Monday.
Analysis: With the NHL squad officially eliminated from the playoffs with a loss Sunday to the Wild, Ty Rattie will join Chicago, which remains in the midst of its first-round series with Utica. Rattie, who didn't see any action with the Blues in their six postseason games, finished third on Chicago in scoring during the regular season, netting 21 goals and 42 points in 59 games.

Rattie Recalled By Blues

News: Per the AHL's transaction log, Ty Rattie was recalled by the Blues on Wednesday.
Analysis: Ty Rattie, who has one point in five games with the Blues to date, re-joins the big club with the team dealing with some injuries up front, to the likes of Vladimir Tarasenko and d Alexander Steen. The 22-year-old winger is second in scoring for AHL Chicago, with 42 points in 59 games.

Blues Reassign Rattie

News: Ty Rattie was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Monday, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Analysis: Ty Rattie spent five games with the NHL club, recording his first career point in that span. The 22-year-old should get more opportunities with the club going forward, and could stick around full time next season. The news could signal a return from injury for either Chris Porter or Jori Lehtera.

Blues' Rattie Out Of Lineup

News: Ty Rattie will not be in the lineup for Friday's game in Columbus, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Analysis: After recording the first point of his career Thursday in Buffalo, Ty Rattie will give way to Joakim Lindstrom on Friday night.

Blues' Rattie Tallies First NHL Point

News: Ty Rattie notched the first point of his NHL career Tuesday, assisting on what turned out to be the game-winning goal in a 3-0 victory over Buffalo.
Analysis: If Ty Rattie's track record is any indication, it'll be the first of many. A two-time 100-point scorer in juniors, Rattie's posted 76 points over 115 AHL games over the last two years. Still just 22, he's got some developing left to do, but the 2011 second-rounder has all the tools to develop into a strong scorer at the highest level.

Blues' Rattie Recalled From AHL

News: Ty Rattie was recalled by the Blues on Friday, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Analysis: The 32nd overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, the 21-year-old Ty Rattie ranks fifth in the AHL with 17 goals this season. He made two NHL appearances last season, and while he's unlikely to make much of a short-term impact with the loaded Blues, Rattie is worth keeping an eye on for the future.

Rattie Off To Another Quick Start In AHL

News: Ty Rattie has five goals in his first 10 games this season with Chicago (AHL).
Analysis: Ty Rattie scored 31 goals in his first professional season last year with Chicago and he seems poised to top that number this year. He is ready to contribute at the NHL level, but there is just no room up front in St. Louis at this time. Rattie is still just 21-years-old and has been a dominant goal scorer at every level in which he has played, but he may need a trade out of St. Louis to truly realize his fantasy potential. Keeper owners need to hang on and hope for a quick resolution.

Blues Reassign Rattie

News: Ty Rattie was reassigned to AHL Chicago over the weekend, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Analysis: The former second-rounder didn't record a point in his two preseason games, which was enough for the organization to determine he wasn't quite ready for a full-time gig with the parent club. He remains among the Blues' top forward prospects, but the team's excellent depth on the wing will probably inhibit his chances of getting a sustained opportunity barring a rash of injuries.

Blues Reassign Rattie

News: The Blues reassigned Ty Rattie to AHL Chicago on Sunday.
Analysis: Ty Rattie failed to crack the score sheet in two games with the Blues this season, so he'll return to Chicago, where he racked up 29 goals and 17 assists in 69 games.

Blues Recall Rattie

News: Ty Rattie was recalled from AHL Chicago on Friday, reports Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Analysis: Rutherford further noted that Ty Rattie is slated to play on the second line in his NHL debut Friday night. The No. 32 overall pick in 2011, Rattie -- a two-time 100-point man in the WHL -- has compiled an impressive 29 goals and 17 assists in 69 games during his rookie AHL campaign.

Rattie Assigned To AHL By Blues

News: Ty Rattie was among seven players assigned to start the season with the Blues AHL affiliate in Chicago.
Analysis: Ty Rattie has a promising pedigree after posting 121 points in 69 games for the WHL Portland Winterhawks. The Blues are loaded up front right now so it will probably take an injury for Rattie to get called up.
